Julie Roussy Newton is a Vancouver born artist.  Julie designs, sews, embroiders and screen prints. Julie studied at Maison Lesage in Paris and Polimoda in Florence. All hijulez pieces are made with love and designed in appreciation of the body, in all of it’s shapes and forms. Julie creates with respect to the environment with a zero-harm philosophy using natural dyes that she picks herself and uses exclusively dead-stock , thrifted or upcycled fabrics.
