Martina Thornhill | Ceramic Mug | Soot

Slipcast stoneware mug with chubby handle. Speckled tan stoneware, glossy white interior, raw stoneware bottom. 

Some notes on Soot: It is a hard glaze to capture on camera. A little black, a little sage green, a little brown, flashes to bright blue where it overlaps the white interior glaze. It has more texture than the other glazes, but is not rough and is still food safe and oh so beautiful in it's variation. 

Details | 4" tall x 3.25" diameter (5" wide with handle). Holds approximately 12oz.

This item is hand-made in Portland, Oregon using food safe clays and glazes. There will be subtle variations in size, markings and finish.
